There is a strong trend towards cashflow per share away from EPS for fundamental analysis.
ACB is correct in my opinion.
The change in the accounting standards over the past few years have been more attune for accuracy in the financial sector. It has little relevence for reporting within a number of other industrial sectors and more particularly within the mining sector.
The treatment of assets (carrying values) and the impact on one year's P & L accounts has become a joke....
