I am of exactly the same mind as you Hawkish. I am vastly amused at the giant gap between the price of physical gold and Carrick's gold in the ground. Picking up shares at these prices is like "stealing pennies off a blind man" as the old saying goes Too easy..
At the current gold price - and I believe we will see even higher prices by year's end- CRK's gold reserves will prove extraordinarily profitable. Your figures might even prove conservative!
The super tax is certain to be amended and, even so, some companies actually benefit from it as it is now, so your worst case scenario there is probably overstated.
Good luck acquiring a bundle of CRK under 55c. You might just do it. You could become a major shareholder for peanuts! There are a few nervous holders right now. Fear drives them to make the wrong decision.
