It’s a bot trade, an algorithm designed to do a task, accumulate, distribute, test for sellers/buyers etc. They are employed much more once a stock gains popularity
There are even systems that can recognise news or popularity of stock codes by scraping data from socials and search engines and then execute trades based on that
It’s not even conspiracy type thinking, it’s just automation of what a human used to do
