It has been flagged for a long time the change of government. Who knows if it will affect FDR. However reading the various statements from Finder activity is still occurring and the data rooms have been busy.



I’ve been going over Harbour Energy last couple of days to look for indications about activity in the North Sea and strategy. Their share price has risen significantly over last six months and no real material movement over the last few weeks.

Interesting read in the linked presentation from May. In particular page 12 showing projected increased UK capital investment for 2024, also page 15 flagging planned exploration and development. To me it seems UK is still very lucrative for them as it offers cash flow to be able to divest elsewhere in the world.

But OnSpeed is probably better than me to offer commentary on this.

Also mentioned throughout their recent presentations is CCS. It’s obviously front of mind to develop. Love to hear others thoughts on it, as I need to research more into it. But Finder has flagged this as a growth opportunity that links to their skillsets.
