I have extracted the main part...'level 3' assets that deutsche bank are holding which are illiquid...will be interesting what happens when Italian banks loans sour further.
What should, and shouldn't, worry us about Deutsche Bank
Yes, there are questions about the bank's balance sheets, including the complicated valuations of "level 3" assets. But Deutsche Bank's sources of funding are much more diversified and its balance sheet is significantly more robust that Lehman's ever was. Also unlike Lehman, Deutsche Bank has access to emergency funding at a central bank, in this case, the European Central Bank.

What are 'Level 3 Assets'
Level 3 assets are assets whose fair value cannot be determined by using observable measures, such as market prices or models. Level 3 assets are typically very illiquid, and fair values can only be calculated using estimates or risk-adjusted value ranges
