Gold is on a tear at the moment- up over $2000A/oz. wow!

I suspect over $180m A operating surplus this qtr, and if this gold price continues that will be well over $200mA next qtr. Arguably at a $7b market cap, this is quite inexpensive.

There will be, by notice of recent presentations, a resource and reserve update across the assets mid-2019, ie, imminent. My bet is this will surprise to the upside.

I listened carefully to the recent presentation. Pogo has some serious potential. They said “it will be our best asset” and the others are not too shabby! Wouldn’t it be a hoot if they were sitting on a 50m oz endowment!!

I foresee a billion dollars of annual operating cashflow for this company down the track, and growing reserves and resources and further strategic acquisitions. It’s pretty exciting and I wish I had been able to retain all my holdings from 2 years ago. One of my great regrets.
