I have often wondered why UAE never built a canal ala Suez north of Dubai to allow world trade to bypass Hormuz. Maybe 30 miles ?
I bet you could find world partners to fund that little piece of toll seaway infrastructure !
Anyhow back to NST and I too expect BB and NST will continue as a business to agressively grow their production profile via acquisition if any downturn presents quality distressed or stranded assets. I thought on day one RMS LOM Plan was potentially setting up for a takeover but not sure NST would want to embrace their multi mine profile for the ounces involved.
