"There have been plenty of posts about OBJ that have stated that holders are happy with the "fundamentals". However, as a holder, for me, this a one area of concern."
OBJ is in possession of some very powerful IP, this IP can generate huge profits and market share to partners for very small bolt on costs. Fundamentally this will be rewarded down the road.
"The current MC of $130 million clearly does not reflect the fundamentals of a company with no revenue (apart from "minimal" supplied for P&G for R&D), no profit, no tangible assets (except for $4.5 million in the bank), and no historical growth data."
Are you as shareholder prepared to stumble from one cap raising to another to fund this R&D? Have you read the notes from last AGM that OBJ have solved a small problem on one of GSK's product....ka ching!!! $ 900000.00 plus in the piggy bank. I prefer the current state of play and from where I'm sitting the paid R&D from partners is income.
"Futhermore, I'm afraid that the non-deal roadshow provided little more information for potential sophisticated investors to get excited about. I agree with those posters on here who have stated that the information provided to diego10's broker is market sensitive and should therefore be released by the company for public consumption.
Why should the roadshow provide any more info than what has been released already? Why should sophisticated investors have more info than us? The roadshow was intended to showcase OBJ and make the market aware of this little gem and it's connection to P&G GSK and all the other partners.
"Jeff said that P and G counted their revenues in blocks of $100m "
I don't really care how they(P&G) count their revenue.
"The other thing that keeps returning to my mind is why the directors sold their shares. It does not matter what spin is put on this event; whether they have more or less shares at the end of their allocation, whether they did it for tax reasons, whether they deserved a bit of extra income, whether they wanted to party, etc, etc.....the fact still remains that they offloaded a significant number of "potentially" valuable shares. If they were aware of an event that was to happen in the near future (like a product launch) then why sell shares that could be worth many times their value in a few weeks/months?"
Why don't you tell us of when the directors should sell some of their shares. The directors are in possession of sensitive information 90% of the time , that;s their job. They found a window after the P&G announcement to do this trade without being in conflict. You are a share holder in PNO , do you agree with the way directors rewarded themselves and compare the income of directors to OBJ directors and report back to us here.
"My argument here is that the present fundamentals of OBJ do not justify the current MC."
For this refer to Maka's post!!!!
Do some research and I'm sure you will change your mind.
