Another possible reason why gold producers are down here today- redemptions.

HUI was up overseas (only just) despite lower POG, but our golds are down today despite higher POG.
Perhaps ours are more influenced by retail redemptions from managed funds.
These may have received above average redemption requests on Friday following the Fed words the night before and they are selling today to meet those requests.
Often there are various possible reasons for what might seem odd.

Those words by the Fed are not likely believed by the market (as reflected in POG) but might have spooked less experienced retail investors that invest in managed funds.

All just theories, thinking out loud on my part.
