This was a big concern for me too but, the CAPEX of building the thing was massive...Something like 300M ?! Even if they got the cost down, the OPEX isn't cheap.
Then the biggest thing...GRADE! You notice they didn't mention any of that in their release? For all we know it could have been industrial grade LCE (sub 5-8k?)
I have spoken to Jerko about this and there's no reason to think PA and Co. couldn't come up with a process as good, that's 32% different (to be legal).
PA is the man...ASX investors and Chinese investors need to trust him...not JORC's that STILL aren't a guarantee of overall grade....JUST a guarantee the person staying it isn't lying. Big difference.
30+ year as a chemical engineer. 15 years running one of the biggest Li mining and processing plants...this is why we'll all be rich.
