Hilarious, this thread has 5 posts and 4 of them are from non-holders... and all 4 individuals demonstrate an outstanding level of ignorance regarding the Magnis facts.
It sums up the Magnis story at the moment in that it has become complex and too difficult for many to grasp. The graphite mine is only a very small part of what is happening now and after exhaustively asking the PhD brains questions yesterday, I could not be happier - have absolutely zero worries about Nachu... Plans B and C will "blow your minds clean out of your skulls". It is like everything Magnis seems to do, incredibly forward thinking and way ahead of the curve.
As was explained, 85% of battery cell cost is raw materials. Without the need for cobalt and nickel, these costs come down by 40%. It's not about a battery chemistry that doesn't need them, it's about a chemistry that is cheaper in its materials with no loss to performance. Graphite is only 5% of current cell raw material costs.... Nachu would be a nice added income stream but is not critical to cost reductions.
Magnis and C4V were clearly explained as a 50/50 partnership - C4V cannot sign any battery technology supply contracts without Magnis and vice versa. To justify what Magnis brings to the table would be to lengthy a post for anyone to read and is unnecessary - the fact is, the arrangement is firmly established and working exceptionally well - Magnis is now clearly a technology company and with its partners, is on the way to building a some of the world's biggest upcoming gigafactories.
