ZINC OXIDE 101:
A typical Zinc Oxide sunscreen formula takes years to create as well as in excess of $1 million (See ANO's previous releases).
It is not as simple as taking a truck of zinc carbonate, grinding it up, baking it, and selling it. There is a lot more that goes into making it suitable for sunscreen formulations.
But you say, "If it is so great everyone in the industry will just expand capacity!".
Wrong.
Our largest competitor sent a letter out to their customers this year telling them that they cannot increase their order quantities from those of last year because they have no supply!
Does not sound like a low barrier to entry to me!
ANO on the other hand have not only managed to increase capacity, but have it taken up immediately! (again please feel free to read our releases before posting, please)
