'easy' to produce Lithium out of Clays, I'm sure that he would have simply been making those claims, based upon information that had been 'provided to him' from,
'supposed, expert Geology and Chemical consultants', that had either been hired by his firm, or maybe even, who had simply approached him themselves, with
a 'good story' and perhaps, some less than completely honest intentions, themselves.
And so as to what could have actually, ..motivated, those 'supposed, expert consultants' to supply him with, ..such 'information' in the first place..?
Well, it's been my own life's personal observation, that
even 'just the smell' of 'LOTS of MONEY' in the offing,
will often make a whole lot of folksdo, and say, ..almost anything, to get ..their own hands upon some, or even, all, of it..!Either way, I'm very sure that Elon, has ..since, discovered, that getting his own company's hands upon ..any, of this supposedly very, very abundant Lithium, ..isn't ..quite so easy, after all, as what his ..'expert advisers' first told him it would be...!
