funding for 2020 has started

yesterday Peraton was awarded $27.5 million by the navy for 4 contracts in the unmanned maritime systems support (UMSS). this is well bellow previous funding obtained by Peraton. they are not in competition with aquabotix, however they subcontract out to SeeByte (looks like they offer competitive product, however no swarming capabilities).

this is purely an objective post. I'm not sure if reduced procurement by Peraton means more piece of the pie for others, however Peraton looks to provide services for Mk18 UUVs.... as per 2019... anyway funding for 2020 has arrived to heads of department. let's see what aquabotix gets. fingers crossed 10x increase in volume last 2 days with a 50% increase in SP, is a good thing.
