Alois Buschfort, the owner of this (first) unit, which is located in a local bakery in Essen, NRW, is very pleased with the performance: “The fuel cell system exceeded my expectations. The unit performs very reliably and provides low-cost electricity for the cooling system of the bakery located in my property while reducing the carbon emissions at the same time. The provided heat is mostly used for domestic hot water. I can only recommend the fuel cell technology.”
To repeat myself for the Nth time - don't they have trade publications in Germany? Or local papers featuring local heroes and their good deeds?
Like this, or thumbs up on social media - especially for the younger demographic that really are concerned, about climate change. etc. etc.
I fail to see why this has not generated more sales, in these respective trade sectors.
I just get the feeling that CFU have waited to improve the fuel cells performance and cut costs, before they launch an aggressive roll out.
I recognize that such a State government program is limited in scale and there is a limit to how many units can be sold through the scheme. Is there a limit to how many (or what percentage) CFU are allowed to provide under the NRW scheme?
Have there been any statements as to how may of the first 100 units were sold by CFU?
