In order to mitigate risk perhaps WPL with COP should agree to provide FAR with an interest free loan to finance FAR to production.
Terms would be that FAR dropped arbitration proceedings and in return would only be.required to repay the principle after first oil when they had income.
Sounds reasonble to me, COP would not have to reimburse WPL and WPL would have certainty in retaining their 35% FAR would have eliminated any funding issues.for the time being.
WPL and COP would be out of pocket some petty cash (the interest on the loan to FAR until the loan was repaid)
Senegal would be happy the issue was resolved, the project would benefit as a result and all partners could then focus on getting SNE to production.
Oh one more thing ! FAR’s share price would rocket and the shorts would be blown out of the water.
