PE,same principle, but only JOA related imo.
COP/WPL sale has passed Govt approval.
Yes,the step out drilling should secure JV more lease retention with the oil shows discovered at Fan South & SNE North.
One has to remember that Far and hunt were the fence sitter's on the leases for a long time, before finally attracting Cop & Cairn in
 the 11th hour.
SNE ,Fans etc were a great discovery,but the rest of the leases potential remains unknown and out of time.
I am almost certain that Cairn and WPL would have wanted to do more drilling before the deadline,and Far may not have agreed or had the funds or were to busy trying to tip the boat over.
Who knows,but you can't tell me they would surrender it willingly based on the limited data obtained & lack of drilling over the entire lease area to date.
