After reading an article in the weekend Oz, I am starting to get an idea who the KKL benefactors are likely to be. Under the heading "Family lose control of winemaker", this paragraph - KMPG recommended this week that the 300 McWilliam's Wine Group creditors accept the recapitalision offer of Melbourne based Charles Hunting, exec chairman of the asset man firm Prcstnt. Established only last October, Prcstnt ( pronounced persistant) is likely backed by investors from Asia.
The US-born Hunting, who does not have a lengthy Ag or viticulture background, attracted attention in 2016 when he fronted the launch of the Ag and Food Fund, backed by Chinese venture capital firm Tsing Capital. It was seeking to raise up to $2bn when eyeing off 20 possible deals. The website now announces that $1bn is now under management. The $50m deal will be put before creditors on July 24.

So my take (best guess) is that one of Huntings Cos is funding KKL "subject to the successful financial close of both the Certain ID and Waste Conversion projects to which the expense directly applies".

That seems good news on the outside. I have some concerns but this is not the place for it.

Trust that is of some interest.
