We only have to look back at TNGs history to see how single issues can delay progress in these area by months and dare I say it years .If the re-vised CAP EX figures give comfort that all engineering and design and re modelling is settled then at least the CLC discussions should be progressing well and if not then TNG needs to prioritize that component of licensing.

As for NAIF funding and other Fed or Territorial funding/loans, while we haven't heard zip for ages on these fronts. My assessment of the NAIF potential was between $50 and $90 Mill might be in order for TNG. I based these figures on some comments made from a number of sources at the time the funding was "topical".

In relation to the NT Govt Middle Arm debacle, unless I'm missing something the NT Gov t should be looking at some way to assist TNG with the "alternative proposal". The changes are directly as a result of NT Govt incorrect assessment of the uses to which Middle Arm lent itself too. The fact that they also screwed up their assessment of the local benefits in subsidizing the developing the LNG fields both on and off shore meant that they had to think laterally and hatch a plan to use the gas in another way ie Green Hydrogen generation was more good luck that good management in my view. I guess by offering TNG an in and continued access to the siter is a sweetener. I wonder whether the real incentives will be anything like the hand outs given out to develop the pipeline etc. I will try to send the PDF to the KPMG report on the whole gas project and infrastructure upgrade requirements it huge. I guess when one looks at the scale of the infrastructure upgrade there will be direct benefits in that area too.

As usual Maxyer excellent post with a whiff of optimism. Regarding CLC , I would have liked gfwil to make a comment on that. I tried to reply to his post but something went wrong. The winds of change are blowing our way however.
It's a pity PB cannot or will not put some puff into our sail with some up to date announcements.
