The main takeaways I picked up on:

HIV

- 9 completed Human Trials- 2 still running
- The examination of the data for the 'Treatment Experienced' trial is expected to be comment-able this year.
- Biotron is not interested in taking drugs through to registration without partnership.
- 9 years left on the 2007 patent
- Further protection is underway with a new patent application, (PCT), that has been already been filed for immunomodulation.
- More HIV drugs doing safety studies before end of year.

HCV

- Human trial early 2023

Covid

- The FDA Guided phase 2 trial is for the purpose of gathering data for future partners.
- Biotron is not interested in taking drugs through to registration without the aforementioned partnership.
- Aiming to do the Phase 2 this year, (if all goes smoothly).
- Phase 2 could be within or outside the USA.- If in USA it will be IND.
- If outside it will be IND Enabling, which means the same thing, just not physically taking place in the USA.
- Phase 3, after successful phase 2, to follow in 2023, but Biotron wishes to do that with a partner.
