    Hi all,

I'm in the same boat as many of you seem to be in - voted Labor with high hopes they might be in our corner but now not so sure. Discouraged by the backsliding. Becoming all too aware that Rudd is not just waiting for the Garnaut report anymore, but modelling from treasury, and the productivity commission, and any other source that will let him justify taking the path of least resistance.

However there is at least one good thing about the current situation - having a Labor government has put an end to the nuclear diversion and outright anti- policy Howard was running and given us a bit of clear air.

Even if these guys are total losers they will be in power until 2011 or thereabouts, and by then we should have won the public debate by demonstrating we're a viable alternative - probably the best - for generating electricity.

After that, whoever gets elected won't be able to put the genie back in the bottle, even if they wanted to.

    That's my hope anyway.
