    My concern is that this project is so far off, with so many uncertainties, funding requirements, etc.

    What if the recession deepens, manufacturing slows dramatically, China comes off the boil post-Olympics, demand for iron ore and prices fall??

    Suddenly that large iron ore deposit in the middle of nowhere isn't worth diddly.
