Hi Boursebandit, why is that?

This weeks AFR article on Tivan goes into detail about GWs thinking on the Sun Cable strategy. He is a deep thinker who appears to me to be a few steps ahead of the rest. Based on GW's commentary in the press this week, here is how I see things..... Darwin's grid capacity is approx. 250MW and Tivan's proposed processing facility requires a comparable amount of energy. This means lots more new energy is required to power our facility. As you know,
Tivan is all about social license amongst the first nations people and the broader public and so securing the required energy source by aligning Tivan to controversial new gas projects is not an option. The Sun Cable deal/strategy is a smart one.
