Despite Aphrodite being the founding goddess of Hyksos Askalon, which lies 60km due west of Bethlehem, who was subsequently afforded numerous sanctuaries in and around Palestine, including at Jerusalem, by succeeding Mukenaian,Philistine, Ionian, Hellenistic and Roman Greeks, this goddess does not appear to be mentioned in the Bible. Especially not in Genesis where Abram gives Sarai to the Philistine king.
