Sorry my mistake I know when the Malayan emergency started and finished I got my sums wrong this is what through me off(your post)-

"Confrontation was in the EARLY 60's prior to Vietnam. The SAS picked up a lot of jungle skills there before being deployed later into Vietnam."

I don't know you Banjar or if you know what you are talking about thats why when you write your posts you need to supply dates/battles and seperate subjects/points ect with paragraphs your posts are very confusing there is no clarity in them!!!!

I have read a fair bit about the Malayan emergency but out of frustration because of conflicting stories gave up on it-that was a while ago and am a little bit rusty on it!

The SAS may or may not have said it I have tried to find it without success but if you say that is what the said well I believe you!

But getting back to what I said twice before this is not the point I was trying to make and by now we all know what it is!!

Just out of curiosity what is your impression of the Australian armed forces Banjars?
