They added value to their pockets it's the only thing they know best and it eludes & frustrates them. Putting structures in place to try to benefit and protect oneself e.g. company tiers etc. As for VCR they didn't count on the SH calling their bluff; their threat to call in the VA (whilst solvent btw) if SH demanded an EGM to change management out. Otherwise they would be rubbing their hands together by now!
