In terms of manipulation, there is a possibility that someone is using the trick "throw out the little to get the big" by getting the scared dummies to sell. If it is the case, the so called "manipulator" could be just an individual or a small number of individuals as you can see the values of volume in the last few days were well below $20k.
Anyway, the management have the up-to-date information about the composition of pab shareholders and must have been closely monitoring any suspicious change. I believe they don't want to keep the sp low and put the company in long-term risk of hostile takeover.
