"As for the up and coming meeting, it is just that our office, has nothing to disclose at this time. The meeting is still scheduled for monday until further notice."
This is not what they said when they requested an adjournment of the meeting. Then (28th January) they said:
"The Board considers it prudent to seek consent to adjourn the meeting as it believes that as a result of such adjournment it may be able to give shareholders additional information that would be relevant for their consideration prior to the general meeting of shareholders."
Obviously the additional information wasn't meant for us plebs.
I think this means that, as a result of private deals, they now have the necessary votes for the resolution to pass.
Also, is it really the case that they can't do anything about misleading broker reports? What about requesting a simple correction!
