2) Delays to DFS: Through our discussions with management it became apparent that
there is a reasonable chance that the Husab Uranium DFS could be delayed into
Q2/2011. This would be the second delay to the completion date. The complex nature
of such a large project and continued optimisation appears to be the reason for the
potential for the delay. However, CEO Jonathan Leslie did suggest EXT would hope to
submit long lead time orders by mid-2011 with first production by late 2014.
3) Delays to Mining Licence Grant: EXT submitted its mining licence application in mid-
December 2010 and hopes to receive its mining licence in 1H/2011. This could be a
key event for the company and could prompt a takeover for EXT. Therefore delays to
gaining a mining licence could be an impediment to any bid. Langer Heinrich,
Trekkopje and Valancia?s mining licences were granted within ~3 months. However,
Bannerman?s mining licence was lodged 12 months ago and it has not been granted.
