Alex Molyneux is extremely bullish on Black Range, Mike Haynes and Ablation right now. He mentioned that he's spoken with parties inquiring about buying Ablation's 50% interest in the 50/50 JV with BLR. But, Alex says that while that might make sense down the road, it's still so much cheaper to get direct exposure to the Ablation technology via BLR shares!

I confirmed that Azarga is backstopping the A$6 million equity raise at A$0.014. They stand ready to buy between zero and the entire issuance, depending on demand. Alex and Mike Haynes, together and separately, will be traveling globally to pitch the BLR story in conjunction with equity raise. At least one well-known Australian Broker will be running the capital raise with Azarga. I presume this broker will put out a research report on BLR.

Another takeaway, it probably makes sense for Powertech and Black Range to become one company. Powertech has a key project in Colorado, where BLR's resources are. And, Powertech has one of the best ISR projects in the U.S. in South Dakota, Dewey-Burdock. Geographic and technology (ISR + Conventional mining) diversification would be a win-win for both companies. Black Range would also inherit a full TSX listing via that route. To be clear, this is my opinion only. Canadian investors know a lot about U.S. uranium assets through their ownership of Uranerz, UR-Energy, Powertech and Energy Fuels Inc.

Alex and Mike believe that exploration properties have substantial upside. They commented that Uranium One had been selling or letting expire, permits on their conventional land holdings. U1 was zeroing in on what they believed to be their top conventional prospects. This bodes well for a meaningful upsize to the 8.9 million pounds, again in my opinion.

Alex believes there will be strong interest in the A$ 6 million placement. Feedback that Alex and Mike are getting from existing shareholders has been positive. There's a great deal of excitement in the BLR/Ablation/Azarga camps on this transformational acquisition and JV earn-in opportunity.
