rowingboat, you mention that you won't complain with $5k Gold, but it I recall you are waiting to exit most of your equities when you think this wave is over (using the market vane sentiment). How will you know whether to hold onto the equities or to sell? If Gold went to $1800, market vane was showing time to exit and you did, then you might not be so happy to see $5000 Gold soon after (having exited most of your positions)...

I'm not sure I see the financial system lasting as it is for another 5-10 years, so in some ways agree that the blowoff could come a lot sooner than 2016...
