unless they are totally incompetent and believe that it really was "further high grade results" then is it reasonable to assume that their intention was to decieve?

as denum says it totally kills faith in management - are they incompetent or liars? either outcome is not desirable for holders.

that being said, even if their intent was to decieve i doubt anything will be done, afterall JUT is small fry, and people get away with murder in the spec end of town. i have seen a lot worse go under the radar with no action taken.
