Word on the street is that Orano might be shutting down its Akouta operation (Niger) for good by the end of C2018.
Combined with the 20% reduction announced at its nearby Somair operation, this would see >4.5 Mlbs U3O8 removed from the market (C2019 vs C2017) rather than the <1-1.5 Mlbs generally assumed.
The supply/demand equation is getting more and more one sided.
