Mining Ltd has announced further significant drilling results
from the ongoing in-fill and resource extensional drilling programme at
its 100pc-owned Deflector Gold-Copper Project at Gullewa in WA.
The drilling program has delivered individual high-grade
intersections in excess of 100g/t Au and a single best intersection of
12.13m @ 5.7g/t Au and 0.5pc Cu.
Other intercepts returned from West Lode include:
* 0.42m @ 102.89 g/t Au and 0.3pc Cu
* 0.43m @ 29.13 g/t Au and 18.2pc Cu
* 4.00m @ 7.58 g/t Au and 0.4pc Cu
* 2.17m @ 11.83 g/t Au and 0.1pc Cu
* 0.38m @ 81.50 g/t Au and 0.4pc Cu
Batavia was initially aiming to complete the entire drill program
by the end of May.
However, in light of the excellent results received so far, the
company has decided to extend the programme out to the end of June by
drilling an additional six in-fill holes totalling 2,700 metres.
The objective of the additional holes is to extend the
Indicated/Inferred boundary within the Mineral Resource below its
originally planned level, to enable a greater proportion of the resource
to be upgraded to Indicated status once work on the new resource model
commences.
