Sydney - Thursday - March 10: (RWE Australian Business News) -
Synergy Metals advises that diamond drilling at the Glen Wills Gold
Project in Victoria continues to intersect significant widths of high
grade gold.
GWDH024, targeted to test the interpreted down-plunge
continuation of mineralisation below the old mine workings of the Maude
Gold Mine, has intersected 11.9 metres @ 8.86 g/t gold.
The diamond drill hole is NTW sized and has intersected
mineralisation at a dip angle of -69 degrees.
The intersection is approximately perpendicular to the strike of
the mineralising structure. The intersection in GWDH024 is completely
contained within an 11.9 metre mineralised zone commencing at a depth of
220.7 metres.
The intersection is below the lowest historic stoping on the
Templeton shoot at the 8 Level.
GWDH025, which was drilled to test the strike continuity to the
north of GWDH024, has been completed and core was submitted this morning
for analysis. Drilling of GWDH026 has commenced to test the strike
continuity of the latest intersection to the south of GWDH024.
Additional sampling of GWDH023 failed to increase the
mineralised intersection beyond the previously reported intersection of
5.80m @ 18.87 g/t gold.
