It depends who the contracting entity was. I am sure within the Gorgon Head Contract they have provisions for paying a Contractors (Marine and Civil) Subcontractor (NMS) if the Contractor defaults, as long as the quality of work (diving) is not in question (which its not). It may take a while but NMS will/may get paid.
More intersting is the point that any potential investor would want to look at this work (small risk) and the Trident work (loss) and then want to look at the Companies booked work or backlog for 2011. Based on a lack on recent announcement that would not bode well for NMS share holders.
