Since you asked here are some signs. Apart from financial underperformance and Wayn's hints about the company being vulnerable to takeover, I can't really find any others, that's why I asked posters here if they knew of any. Had I bought some 18 months ago, waiting for a SP explosion, I'd be well underwater now. Again, has anyone seen any signs (apart from Wayne's sales pitch) of impending takeover?
