Thanks for sharing that video. Of course a trans catheter procedure is preferable because it is less invasive. But there are a number of conditions where a surgical procedure is preferred. For example Endocarditis can cause some serious damage to aorta valves requiring growths to be removed surgically. (Jimmy Barnes' recent valve replacement)
