It has to slow sometime. It could be today.

I really try to focus on the value of the resource rather than focus on what the traders are deciding on any given day.

The best analogy I can give is imagine your house (let's say it's worth $500K) is 90% owned by you and you don't sell any of that, you just live in it.

Let's say the other 10% is floated as shares at 1 cent a share for 5 million shares ($50K).

Let's say that the trade of those shares is a bit up, a bit down but then there is something which happens and many traders have margin calls, or they have made losses elsewhere and need to cash up, or some other sector becomes "sexy" or whatever.

Let's say that on light volumes a few more are selling than buying shares in your house. Let's say the shares drop down to 0.8 cents and then 0.6 cents and then are sitting at 0.5 cents. Volume of trade may be a few thousand shares.

According to the traders your house is now worth only $250K, what do you think of that? Are you depressed? Do you rush to sell your house?

OR do you take a step back and see what other houses in the street sold for just recently? Look! The house next door which is smaller, has a smaller block and is a bit run down sold for $480K just last week.

What's going on? The traders trading 10% of the stock in your house say it is worth $250K and the real estate market says your house is probably worth more than $500K????

Could it be that the share market isn't valuing your asset accurately? Is that possible?

Focus on the value of the asset in the real world and you will do much better than if you focus on the traders.
