Checked my notes-correct myself delete 2,500 tpa cobalt, replace with 3,500 tpa. equiv 5.4% global prodction. At $50 lb $383m pa, at $100 lb, $760m pa. Are we looking at $2 billion pa mine in 8-10yrs? At the production costs quoted bt MLX at about $4 lb could be positive cash flow if $1billion pa, about 3 times current total market capitalisation. Like mose shallow nickel-cobalt limonite deposits there are low strip ratios 0.86 to 0.3 to 1. Bulk of extraction cost goes on paying ore, not stripping overburden.
