Via NZO announcement we finally have an indication that PPP will be searching for more oil and when. and we will be searching in our own backyard, which has the advantage for us in that we understand it.

1. PPP applied with TUI JV for another offshore Taranaki area south of PEP38483 (Tui)
2. confirmation of a 2009 drilling campaign within Tui to EXPLORE for oil is expected shortly.
3. The Tui wells 2P reserve est still at 50.1mmbbls

This is great news and enough people saw it as that to drive the sp to 30c today.

I think searching in an area you know for potentially 50 mmbbls(5MM PPP) is terrific. They are applying for more ground close to Tui-terrific. and PPP still have 5m of 2P reserves. -more terrific

Why PPP did not say this themselves is beyond me. What could be better?

Forget the takeover stuff I cannot see it happening.
