Delay of announcement until Monday could suggest they are doing the rounds of the institutional investors to get their commitments first...
If that is successful, existing shareholders may get a SPP with limited commitments rather than pro-rata rights issue...
Either way, they need the cash to see them through to finalize the Mahalo deal... So raising will take some pressure off...
Depending on discount, share price will probably be weaker in the short term...
Barring complications, the share price should look better closer to close of deal towards year end...
