I have no problem to confess to being new to the stock market and Biotech for that matter. I think it's not important however. Years of experience are not a pre-requisite to making sensible judgments about a particular company's prospects. I'm definitely no expert, but it's amazing what you can learn in a very short time when you can benefit from a forum like this and enrich my understanding based on the mostly excellent posts I am seeing from experienced members (and there seem to be lots).
I refer you to Mr47's rather sound post here. Link to the Bioshares PDF from April 2009. It refers to discussions that Prima has had with the FDA that suggest the patient number could be a low as 60. This is not hearsay or chit chat. It's also (I would agree) not a confirmation. But when Bioshares talk about "discussion with FDA" that have taken place, then it means Mr Rogers has been involved in that discussion, so it's a pretty strong indication of how things are going.
