I think you're kidding yourselves if you think that BVS's COVID problems in the UK have evaporated. As I've said a few times management did not once state in their FY20 report why they believed that COVID was not going to be an issue in the 2H and this was way before a vaccine was approved. It was like it was magically going to disappear and everything was going to go back to normal. But this was a just a wild guess on their part and not based on any facts. All shareholders kept hearing (and still continue to hear) was that the "sales pipeline was strong" which essentially means "we might make some sales but we might not." Their 1H was worse than expected and their second half may only be 10% better than 1H. BVS management have not outlined any strategy to deal with their issues in the UK. COVID is still a massive problem in the UK even with the vaccine rollout. Shorts dropped nearly a full % last Thursday but they up again considerably on Monday and Tuesday.

I want this company to do well for the people on this forum who hold BVS and that I've bantered with but I honestly don't know where this company is at. I have no more confidence in it than I did a month ago. I have no idea what it's value is. Heart says $5, head says $2. I think it has a bright future but it's fundamentals at the moment are terrible. I have major concerns with management and their continual "cone of silence" when the company is faltering.

You have to expect a few dead cat bounces every now and then. And I'm old enough to remember when BVS's share price went down almost every session whether the market was having a green or red day. And trust me, BVS is not a defensive stock by any means. One look at their chart will tell you that. GLTAH.
