Woodside will have to compete with other oil and gas companies to get new exploration acreage .
Woodside are very good at what they do and are now in the top ten oil companies in the world . They had very good people before the BHPP merger which has been added to by keeping on the best of the BHPP employees. The value of WDS is not reliant on new discoveries but more about current production and projects under development which will soon be producing as well as the current dividend which looks to be sustainable for some years yet. They will also be reducing their interest in a few assets which will bring in billions of dollars.
