Sol are a terrific business. No doubt about it. But SOL don't have any regard for ESG. Think coal and investment in weaponry. No such thing as ESG on SOL'S agenda. Even their ESG statements are kind of vague and worthless.
I don't have a problem with that. At least SOL don't pretend to be something that they are not and if you can rake in the cashflow that will continue to support rising dividends for shareholders into the future, then hey...why not?
Eventually though, coal will be back on the nose just as fast as it came to being back in vogue. Like a thief in the night...
