I know Bloomberg is a good tool, however dont think it is worth paying $20k+ as I dont do trading, I have 10 companies in my portfolio with average holding period of 18 months.

I agree broker reports and their price estimates are useless, however I like to read them as they may contain info that I may not know and are good for verification of facts and doing your own research.

I like American listed companies as their 10-K and 10-Q are a good source of information. Hope we get something similar in Australia someday.
