The Future Fund managers may think that the current Telstra sp is full value. They are probably looking to invest more of their funds elsewhere. Looking for flexibility in investing. Looking for higher capital gains to help cover the unfunded Commonwealth Super liabilities as is their responsibility.
Obviously there will be a dampening effect on the sp in the short term but hey, I bought a few more today.
