Oh i forgot to add, these were the trades immediately before the auction, look at the size of them, and they were at $2.69 so they got bashed down 2c by the machines, that would be a couple of index points, never mind the tens of thousands ****** up against the wall by the late buyers and us long suffering holders. Multiply this activity by the number of ASX stocks that this happens to in the "auction", the index close is totally controlled by the machines.
