Meanwhile, analysts from UBS have met with Paladin's group metallurgist Dave Marsh and the company's Langer Heinrich mine managing director Garnett Halliday "to dispell market concerns regarding the process at Langer Heinrich and in particular the alkaline leach circuit".
UBS said it was confident commissioning would be completed on budget and on schedule by next month and maintained an unchanged target price of $6. Paladin closed up 17c (2.6%) today at $6.63.
"The key risk remains production and ramp up as is the case in any new project, but today's call gives confidence in that management are on top of the process issues," UBS said.
